However, the positioning of this device in the lower part of the valve, due to technical constraints, including the fact that the protective cover surrounds the valve block or RDI, makes it often difficult or not easy to read the indications given by the device, which inevitably leads to read errors that can cause breaks in the gas supply because the user can, in case of misreading, not find that the gas cylinder is empty or almost empty. Moreover, if providing the user with information relating to the gas delivered by the bottle (type of gas, pressure, autonomy) is important, this information is not sufficient and the users have more and more need to dispose of other useful information (date, time, place, name of the hospital ...). However, there is currently no gas distribution assembly equipped with a device for providing a wide variety of information to a user. In view of this, the problem is to propose a gas distribution assembly to provide the user not only information on the gas delivered by the bottle (type of gas, pressure, autonomy) but also, if desired, other useful information (date, time, place, name of the hospital ...), and to make them easily accessible, ie readable by the user, and thus to avoid any or some of the above problems. In addition, the bottle must be able to be used in vertical and horizontal positions, and that the information remains visible and readable whatever the position of use adopted. The solution of the invention is a gas distribution assembly comprising a gas cylinder, a valve block fixed on the gas cylinder and a protective cowling arranged around said valve block, characterized in that the protective cowling comprises a housing arranged at the top of the protective casing and in which housing is housed an electronic display of information.
